Now you will be presented with the following window.


The information presented on these screens will help you fix this problem. First of all check that the DNS servers are correct. They should be as follows.

10.255.255.4

10.255.255.5

Next check your Subnet mask this should be either of the following depending upon which network your machine is connected to Admin or Curriculum.

Subnet Mask for Curriculum -   255.255.252.0

Subnet Mask for Admin -    255.255.255.0

Next make a note of the Default Gateway from the output of either of the above utilities. Then issue the following command :-

Ping <ip address of default gateway> in your case you would type

Ping 10.18.0.254

This is shown below with expected results.



If you see something like what appears in the screen shot below then check that you are pinging the correct IP address for the default gateway. If you are, then there is a problem with the computer you are using.



If that works next try the following command.

Ping 10.255.252.254



If you get something similar to what is shown above then your ISDN line or MVPN is working O.K.
