Award Winners 2003
The Stephen Lawrence Education Award had an excellent response from schools this year. The criteria for judging the winners were according to the 10 point criteria listed in the leaflet.
Prize money and book vouchers will be presented to the successful schools who have demonstrated good practice initiatives to support better race awareness and good race relations between young people in Leeds.

The Stephen Lawrence Education Award brings together a partnership between the Race Equality Advisory Forum, Leeds City Council Equal Opportunities Unit, Education Leeds and schools. It is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the work undertaken by Leeds schools as we all work to become more inclusive. Next year we are aiming to introduce a chartermark for Race Equality.
