To
mark the success of The Stephen Lawrence Education Award it will be moving towards
a Chartermark status. An application will be made to the DfES for national registration.
Upon receiving this it will be the first of its kind in the country.
The first two years raised funds and made monetary awards to the winning schools for schools to make improvements. It was felt that this year should be different with a Chartermark to mark the success. Links can be found in priority 7 of the EDP - dissemination of good practice to support the Stephen Lawrence Education Award. A sub-group is currently working on this project.
