Primary Strategy
The Primary Strategy has created a range of Examples, showing how ICT can be used to enhance teaching and learning across the primary curriculum. The Examples cover each of the 9 National Curriculum subjects in Years 1 to 6 and each of the 6 areas of learning in the Foundation Stage. Click here to view.

Leadership Team Toolkit
The Leadership Team Toolkit aims to assist the Leadership Team within the school to develop a vision for ICT development that is unique to your school. It provides Leadership Teams with a wealth of ideas, practical help, examples of current practice, and links to a wide range of other resources to support schools in the embedding of ICT across the curriculum. DiDA – Diploma in Digital Applications
DIDA is a revolutionary suite of three paperless qualifications which offers progression from the Award (AIDA) which is equivalent to 1 GCSE, Certificate (CIDA) to full Diploma (DIDA), equivalent to 4 GCSEs. Click here to view.

Digital Storytelling

An Image Library and a Video and Audio Library - each containing a searchable database of assets that can be downloaded and repurposed for use in lessons. Click here to view.

Beyond Pathe
Beyond Pathe is a project of WMnet. It is a pilot project whose aim is to enable schools within the West Midlands, and those on the NEN, to utilise the Pathe archive, which are free to use in educational establishments. The Pathe archive is huge, so the Beyond Pathe Project has focused on a theme of World War II. Click here to view.
Making the News (MTN)
The free online publishing system for schools hosted by the National Education Network that enables teachers and pupils to share and promote their learning experiences over the World Wide Web. Click here to view.

BBC releases first offerings from the BBC Archive
For the first time in its history the BBC has opened its video archives and released nearly 100 programme extracts to the UK public under the terms of the Creative Archive Licence. People interested in being creative with BBC material will be free to download and mix that footage and use it as the fuel for their own creative endeavours. See:

Bringing History to Life
www.broadband.learningcurve.gov.uk is a free online teaching and learning resource, which follows history from the National Curriculum from Key Stages 2 to 5. Find out what people thought, said and did at the time of some of the most interesting events in history.
