Leeds Learning Network won the 'Innovation of the Year' in recognition of all the fantastic work on the Learning Platform.

The Standard Leeds Learning Network mailbox size quota is 100mb for both staff and student accounts. This size quota ensures mailboxes do not get too large, thus affecting the speed and cost of the service.

From Monday 14th May 2007 users reaching this size will receive caution messages re-emphasising the quota limit and advising on the appropriate action to be taken.

On May 7th 2007, the Leeds Learning Network Intranet page will be replaced by the new Learning Platform Portal page for all users.

This means when users log on to Leeds Learning Network you will arrive at the portal page: https://portal.leedslearning.net.

All useful information currently on the existing Intranet will be available on the Portal page. There will also be a link back to the Intranet from the Portal for a two week adjustment period.

From the Portal page you can also access your My Site, any Collaboration Sites you have access to and your school Learning Platform once provisioned.

As of next week staff users will receive a daily email notice of the spam emails which have been quarantined by the system. This allows you to either release the email if it is of interest or has been wrongly categorised or permanently delete the email from the system.

You can now access the whole city council telephone directory on your VOIP phones. Simply by pressing on the relevant button, depending on your phone, you can access the Corporate Directory including numbers within Education Leeds and others on the VOIP service.
